Household waste is rich in organic ingredients and recyclable materials. They can be separated from the waste, and the organic fraction can be converted to profitable energy by fermentation.
The scope of delivery for recovering recyclables and energy from waste (REC&EN Technology) includes an integrated recycling and energy recovery system for municipal solid waste (MSW). This system offers a variety of advantages and allows the collection of sorted recyclables for marketing as well as the generation of self-sufficient energy, and additionally maximizes the power and energy generation for sale.
- Recovery of recyclables
- Substitute fuels
Sutco BIOFIX – row composting
Automatic, dynamic process. Estimated throughputs > 35,000 – 80,000 Mg/ a
Sutco WENDELIN “the new generation”
Dynamic windrow process of large volumes, estimated throughputs > 80,000 Mg/ a
Sutco tunnel composting
Static process, composting and/or drying of the input material
This is an alternative fermentation process which significantly improves the energy balance and the processing capacity of composting plants.
